Vendors that performed well across all eight critical capabilities tended to score highest for the digital transformation methodology capability. Vendors continue to enhance process optimization assessments with new methods and tooling to implement and manage digital finance transformation solutions.
Vendors that scored highly for performance reporting capabilities were those that offer transformation program performance data that tracks how outcome-based commitments materialize, in addition to traditional operational process insights.
The lowest average score was received for contract pricing transparency, with fewer than 40% of vendors achieving a ‘good’ rating. Many CFOs continue to report dissatisfaction with vendors’ unwillingness to provide pricing
