Stuart Strome

Stuart Strome is a Research Director for the Marketing Practice, Peer and Practitioner Research. He leads a team of researchers in conducting provocative research and identifying best practices in the area of customer loyalty and customer experience.

Graduating with a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Florida in 2014, Dr. Strome has held roles conducting research in public health and criminology. His research has been featured in several academic and trade journals, including Foreign Policy Analysis, The Journal of Experimental Criminology, Security Journal, Loss Prevention Magazine, and the Journal of Hunger and Environmental Nutrition.

Previous experience

As a Research Scientist at the Loss Prevention Research Council, Dr. Strome worked with over 70 retailers, including Walmart, Target, and Best Buy among others, to research behavioral and situational techniques to limit theft, fraud, and violence in retail environments.

As a Director of Field Research at the Florida Survey Research Center at the University of Florida, Dr. Strome led a team of field researchers in a project that examined the role of mobile fresh food markets in limiting food insecurity in food deserts across north Florida.
