Despite slower economies, hiring and layoffs, IT employees continue to show lower intent to stay, and higher expectations for pay increase whether in their current roles or when switching jobs. Generative AI (GenAI) will fundamentally change the way infrastructure and operations (I&O) leaders support the digital workplace. In this session, Tom Cipolla, Sr Director Analyst at Gartner, shared how to prepare for rapid digital workplace management operations changes by assessing how GenAI could augment existing capabilities and use cases.
“More than 80% of digital workplace management tools will include GenAI capabilities, up from less than 5% in 2023.”
“The accuracy of GenAI produced information within tailored use cases, such as digital workplace management tools, will improve quickly. However, GenAI will never be able to replace human intuition, empathy, curiosity, experience and expertise within the digital workplace.”
